I'm currently build a Gaming PC, I have a Primary 2TB(2048GB) HDD and a Secondary 240GB SSD. I am going to instal Windows 8.1 Full version, but I want to install that on the secondary hard drive, and have all system files on the secondary hard drive, while having all my files (Desktop, documents, etc.) on my primary hard drive. So since the OS is on the SSD, the computer will boot faster. Does anyone know a way to do this or if it is possible? Please answer ASAP. PS: If i need to change the boot order of the drive in the BIOS then please give me a detailed explanation of that part, since im a noob when it comes to the BIOS.
For reference, all the boot objects I have is the Primary & secondary Drive, and 1 DvD drive.

Solution
Also, your thought process is a little bit off.
Primary and secondary

Primary = boot drive. This should be the SSD
Secondary = HDD, with all the other data.

Okay, I would recommend that you cleanly install your OS on your SSD.
Best way to do this is to unplug the SATA cables from your HDD, and set your boot device to your DVD drive with Windows 8 in it. Install Windows normally on the SSD, update all your drivers, and then shut down. Plug your HDD back in, and set your boot device to your SSD.

To change your boot device, the very first screen when you start up should have an option saying "boot menu." Press this button, and a screen should come up with a list of boot devices by name. Set the desired boot device using the arrow keys and return key.

Then you can migrate all of your files that you want from your HDD to your SSD through Windows.

The SSD is your primary drive. This is the drive that will have your operating system.
Connect the SSD to the lowest numbered SATA port and you won't have to muck around in the BIOS.
The 2TB drive is your secondary drive. It should appear in Windows as D drive.
You can install programs to either drive as you like once the operating system is installed.
