do i need the msi_odd monitor driver anymore its this one listed on alienware x51 driver page intel ODD Eject Software Driver

I don't have that old optical drive anymore that came with my x51 so is it needed anymore the intel odd eject software listed as MSI odd monitor in add remove programs, since i have my x51 in my new case with a pioneer top end BD drive writter.

that one i do believe was for the old optical drive i had and i no longer have that drive or its case it use to be in the whole computer is in new case with a new optical drive.
