I posted this build before and I did get some answers regarding how I should go with this but now with the 980 and 970 out. Which one should I get? Will the 970 be enough or should I just wait a little longer and just get a 980 along with these components. And also the 750W PSU, is it too much? Will the motherboard be fine with the new cards? I'm still trying to study details about computer parts so bear with me. Thank you :)

I prefer the MSI gaming version of the 970 as the reviews really like this card over the ASUS strix and EVGA card for overclocking. Gigabyte's 970 is good too.

The 970 even without an overclock, is going to max out everything out there especially at...

The 970 is close to a regular 780 GTX. It can still play most games at 1080p maxed out. If you have more than one panel or are playing at above 1080p, I would go for the 980 if it will not strap you for cash. The PSU is not too much at all. If you think you will SLI at some point in the future, I would get a 850w; however, a 750w will do you just fine for a single card, especially with the new cards power reductions.

This build should last you for awhile! You picked some great higher end parts that should serve you for years.

You were missing an SSD, anyways here it is the tweaked build.

Thank you for the reply :) but do I really need an SSD? Is it a necessity? How much faster does it additionally give on games? Also I won't be doing online gaming due to bad internet, it's really impossible. I read somewhere that SSDs are luxury parts not really a necessity.

Many games do load significantly faster on a SSD, along with applications on Windows, and Windows itself; however, it is by no means necessary. I would get something like a Western Digital Black drive. These have decent enough speed to load games and applications and are about as good as you are going to get for HDDs.

Well that seems really good however, being new at this I don't really know how to OC or do I know how can I do that without destroying my card

Hmmm I will look into that, seeing that the 980 and 970 most of the time out of stock I will see how much I have and how much stock stores have in 2 or 3 months. Should be able to get all this by christmas.

The 970 even without an overclock, is going to max out everything out there especially at 1920x1080p (even at 2560x1440p!). The 980 is most likely not worth it for you and for most people, I don't see a reason to go with it over the 970.
