Right now I have an SSD and a 1 TB storage drive in the computer. Unfortunately I am running out of space on the storage due to having so many pictures and videos I need for my job. I am required to keep backups and I can't use cloud storage for security reasons.
What I want to do is use the 1TB drive in my computer for games and things like that since I am going to go over 1TB of data soon anyway. Then put all the pictures and everything I need for work on one external drive. Since I am required to have a backup of those pictures, videos and other work files I will need a second external drive that mirrors the first.
So the questions-
How would I do this?
Is it possible to have a program backup the external hard drive rather than my hard drive so I don't have to manually copy everything twice?
