My previous video card is a sapphire radeon hd 7750 and I just upgraded it to asus gtx 750ti.

So now my specs are
Cpu = Intel core i3
Mobo = Asus p8h61-m lx3 plus
Ram = 8gb gskill ripjaws
Video card = gtx 750ti

Now I installed the driver from the cd for my new graphics card and when I checked my device manager theres only standard vga in it. I checked my gpu tweaker and the specs are the same with gtx 750. The only problem is that windows read it as vga.

Idk what to do! Im a new builder and new with this stuff. Thanks for the help

Did you connect the power from PSU to the GPU? Also, in the BIOS, did you change the video to PCIe as primary?

In the BIOS, there should be a setting for your GPU - usually 3 or 4 settings - onboard only, priority for the onboard - GPU secondary, GPU primary - onboard secondary and GPU only.
