Hi guys,
Basically just built a new system (I have built a few in the past with no problems). However, this is my first windows 8 build. I am getting random blue screens (what i thought at first was when i was running stressful operations like rendering and heavy gaming, but has happened when idling or just browsing the net). I am also getting random restarts when I run basically any of my editing programs (Tested now with Photoshop, Premiere and After Effects).
I have run CPUID's HW monitor and its definitely not an overheating issues as my pc is running super cold. I am thinking it might be the PSU, but I dont have another Power supply around to test it.
Here are my specs:
Intel i7 4790k @ Stock 4GHz
Gainward GTX770 4GB GPU
16GB of G-skill Ares Ram @1600 MHz
Gigabyte GA-Z97X-UD5H-BK
EVGA Supernova Gold 850Watt PSU
Corsair H105
250GB Samsung EVO SSD
2TB Seagate Barracuda
Corsair H440 Case
I am aslo running 7 fans inside the case and at the moment they are all at full because i dont have a 7V/5V converter molex cable.
Please let me know if you think its a hardware issue... which, lets face it, it probably is..
