Hello, i heard GTX 780 Ti was the current best gaming graphic card for now but now 2 new cards have been released. Which will be the best for gaming and performance?

The best gpu available right now is the raedon r9 295x2. However, it is a dual gpu. The best single gpu is the gtx 980. I believe that 2 gtx 980s in sli is around or better than the 295x2 performance wise, while using much less power. A gtx 980 is about $530 right now, while a 295x2 is $1000
