AMD A8 6500 these temps... what?!

So using CPUID my CPU idles at 75-88 C (Jumps from 75 to 88 instantly some times)
and when I run a CPU stressing program within 2 seconds it goes from idle temps to 106C then when I turn it off in 3 seconds it goes back to 80C.
My friend says this is because the people who prebuilt it most likely didn't put any thermal pasteon it. Is this true? Or is it i'm getting inacurate temp.

Can I install it? I have a 9500 GT DDR2 right now so will that effect it any? I doubt it so i'll install it to check.

Also Core Temp doesn't recognize my tempature so I dont know why CPUID HWMONITOR would.

OH i'd also like to point out when stress testing it for 5 seconds it goes 30 C over the Tj Max so...

Btw CPU-Z says that Core VID is 1.362 so is it that my CPU might be to high for volts? I didn't overclock it or anything but i've heard that some motherboards have put it really high for default. (Mother board is a Jasmire 7778 or something)

Also I can instal it right? Without getting errors etc? When I started up my computer today it said the catalyst won't launch because it doesn't support my graphic scard.
