I have a problem with my video card and I was wondering if anyone would kindly help.

I couldn't find a forum dedicated to problems, so I'd assume this would be the right place.

I've had a GTX 560 Ti for about 3 years now, but the thing recently busted on me.

Every time I boot up in normal mode, a black screen flashes every time I do something like open the start menu. Then, what happens is that it gives me a blue screen a few seconds later.

I did things like updating the driver in safe mode, and I don't think there's a virus that caused because I did not download anything for a while.

I would like to know what I can do to help fix this problem.

try booting in safe mode and remove the nvidia drivers. may want to run nvidia drive cleaner. reboot into normal mode see if the system after it installs the nvidia drivers from online see if the card/windows errors out. if windows errors out again. go into windows safe mode use msconfig turn every thing off in start up. uninstall your anti virus (may be damaged and reboot if windows works fine....reinstall your anti virus and reboot.

I have tried that, but it seems that my video card simply does not detect at all when the drivers are uninstalled. When I try to re-install the drivers, the same thing happens. Nvidia driver cleaner does not work.

I also turned off every thing off at startup and uninstalled my anti-virus.

Should I be getting a new video card?

try another card in your pc and if you can try the video card in another pc to see if the error follows the card. if the error goes with the card see if it under warranty and rma it.
