Hello all,
I'm very frustrated. I bought an EVGA 970 SC, and installed it with no problems... mechanically. For whatever reason, steam won't launch most of my games, and Skyrim, after being reinstalled, will not launch through the SKSE component.

geforce experience keeps crashing after an error message. Ive tried to reinstall it and most of my games, and I've tried using driver sweeper.

Also, I'm having a lot of random problems with my computer now. It won't recognize restore points that I KNOW are there.

Please help! haha.

System:
i5-3570k
EVGA 970 SC
Geforce Driver 344.11

Driver sweeper? Do you mean Display driver uninstaller? If not, use that. http://www.wagnardmobile.com/DDU/

Make sure you boot into safe mode to uninstall your drivers, then if you haven't, download the latest drivers and while installing make sure to choose to do a "Custom installation" The next part of the installer should give you an option to "Do a clean installation". Check this box to do a clean installation of your drivers.

yea, I mean that one. ive used it and booted in safe mode. I still get the same error messages. geforce experience has never given me problems before, so I have no idea what's going on. I should mention that I had a PNY 770 in before, and didn't uninstall the last driver, but that shouldn't matter after a sweep and custom clean install?

In theory it shouldn't matter, but just to be safe to another complete uninstall and reinstall of your drivers. Some more experienced people will have to help you further, I'm afraid.
