Looking for a good portable gaming headset (which can also be used for phones, and other gadgets)

Hi guys. I'm looking for a quality headset good enough for gaming and for simple, everyday use in my university. :)
It would be better if the headset can be folded or comes with a case for portability. I'm not that much of an audiophile really, but I'm up for quality-wise headphones that can last (and looks is also a plus for me). And not a big fan of beats or other overpriced headphones.
Budget is around 100$ maybe? as long as the cost isn't as high as the other overpriced products. :) Thanks!

Currently into Razer's electra, what can you say about it?

Razer is basically the Beats of gaming headsets. If you want good sound and build quality, the Steelseries Siberia V2 and Corsair Vengeance 1400 are some of the better ones that will work with a phone. The Steelseries is nice because it has a USB soundcard, but can be disconnected and used as an analog headset. The 1400 is still a really nice headset, but not quite as good as the 1500(V1 and 2), 2000, and 2100, which use USB.
