I just built my computer i did a boot test worked fine forgot to plug in the graphics card plugged it in booted again and now

if there no video from the gpu check that all the power cables on the gpu are plugegd in and on the mb edge the 4/8 pin cpu power plug is connected. with newer mb if there onboard video port the onboard video can be the default port till you change it in the bios.

do you mean that you didnt plug the graphics cards into the monitor or did you not plug the power into the graphics card. Go through this checklist: http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/261145-31-perform-steps-posting-post-boot-video-problems
