better to dc or oc

i have a 1866mghz stick of ram an a 1600mhz stick of ram there runing on different channels tho should i dc the 1866 or oc the 1600 to 1866

First thing - only use kits of identical ram.

Next - enable XMP in bios to get them running at rated speed.

I'd get 2 x 4gb 1866 cl9 1.5V ram. Low profile to avoid clash with the cpu cooler eg GSkill Ares

offcouse id normaly do that but the thing is i just recently got the stick of ram for nothing an its gskill 1866 4gb an i wanna kno if it would be better to dc the 1866 to 1600 or oc the 1600 to 1866 its only temparary till i get a 32gb kit an 4gb is just awful lol

As I said - if its not IDENTICAL (out of the same kit) it most likely won't work. Leave it how it was till you get the 32GB kit.
