Hi everyone, I just bought a new WD Elements 1TB External Drive on Monday, the 15th of September, 2014. It isn't even a week old yet. It is recognized by my office Compaq laptop running a windows vista OS but it is not seen in my home desktop Dell Pentium 4 also running a Vista OS. I tried to plug it in last night at home and it just wouldn't be seen in My Computer. It is right there in the Device Manager though. I brought it to the office this morning and it still shows perfectly in my office compaq laptop. Please I need help to make it work in my home desktop. Thank you.
