I live in University dormitory and I want to share University wireless internet to other laptop / PS4 via LAN.

I have one PC that can connect to University wireless but other cannot. I try to share my internet via LAN but I got the problem.

On PC that can connect to the wireless, It say unidentified network/Limited.

On other laptop, it say unidentified network/no internet access.

I also cannot connect the internet to PS4.

I try to fix the problem by myself for a day but I cannot solved it.

May you please help me solve the problem ?

Thank you in advance.

This is going to be a bit tricky doing this wirelessly. Basically what you are trying to is tether the wireless from one device to other devices you own locally?

One issue you are going to run into right off the bat is, the adapter (most likely built in) can only server one function at a time, either connect to wireless or create an ADHOC/peer to peer network. It will not do both at the same time.

You will need a second adapter, and a software application that bridges the two network connections together (unfortunately I am unable to provide you any names/recommendations offhand for such an application).

However, if your university allows wired connection to your dorm (every university dorm I have been in does) that may be the best...
