hey guys .. i have 4GB ram , HD 7870 XT and i5-3470.
i play watch dogs @1080p on Tweaked ultra settings, and when i look at my Ram Usage i see it reaches to 3950 MB Max. , is that means that i don't need anymore ram to make the game more smoother?, as long as it doesn't reaches to its FULL 4000 MB or my pc doesn't crash.
so 8GB ram won't make any difference because there is still a room left on the 4GB ram..am i wrong?

you indeed are wrong, it is maxing your ram at 3950 so you can still run... if it used the full 4096, you would crash, you definetly need more, basically the more ram, the smoother watchdogs runs, as far as ive heard, watchdogs is a bit of a ram whore, on both system memory and graphics

thanks for your reply..so if i added more 2GB ram or 4GB the ram usage won't be 3950MB at max.? it will take more?
i thought that if ram didn't used the full 4096 so the game will run normal and it won't make a difference if added another 4GB

no lol, its using all the ram its being fed, the rest is cut off so your pc dosent die, give it another 2gb and it will eat that too, it will take whatever its given to an extent, probably 16gb total is where you will see it stop eating it all

thanks for your help..i'll try to add another 4GB, but the problem is i can't find the same module of my Ram..i have kingston 4GB DDR3 1333Mhz CL9 1.5v
so i'm wondering if i mixed it with a different module like G.Skill 1600MHz CL9 1.5v, will they work together? ..i hope so : (
