Poor Performance from my GPU

Hi guys, i have a PowerColor HD 7870 OC Graphics Card and i have to say on most games it's brilliant. (BF3 ULTRA, haven't tried BF4 but heard my GPU can run it).
I have recently got DayZ and no matter what settings i play on, i lag and get like 10FPS max.

Any reasons why it is doing this?

CPU is an AMD Phenom 965 Black Edition II X4. My friend has this exact CPU too and he runs DayZ fine. My GPU is only running at 40-60% too, and when i look at the floor it works at 90+%
