Can i upgrade this laptop?

hello there,
i have a Lenovo U530 Touch Laptop
- 4th Generation Intel Core i7-4510U (2.00GHz 1600 MHz 4MB), Operating System - Windows 8.1 64, Memory - 8.0GB PC3-12800 DDR3L SDRAM 1600 MHz, Graphics Card - NVIDIA Geforce GT 730M N14M-GS DDR3 2GB, Hard Drive - 1TB +8GB SSHD.

can i upgrade this laptop? whats the best i can go to? or do i have to sell this one?

You can only upgrade the SSD / HDD. Most laptop also allows you to upgrade the RAM, but for this laptop it is soldered in. Everything is also soldered in a well like the CPU and the GPU.

If you want a laptop that allows you to upgrade the GPU, then you will need to get a gaming laptop that cost $1,400+ and only specific laptop models will allow you to do so. The vast majority of laptops with dedicated GPUs will have them soldered into the motherboard.

Would upgrading to SSD really help that much in a laptop?

A SSD can make your laptop feel more responsive because Windows will boot up faster and programs / games will launch faster.
