Hey people :D

I'm planning to upgrade my PC and i would like to know if i made good choices :D
my budget is 300 Euro's

sorry for my english ( i'm Dutch and 16 y/o )

These are my Pc specs now:

OS: Windows 7 Ultimate X64

CPU - AMD FX4100 @3.6Ghz.

Zalman heat sink.

GPU - HD 7870 DCII 2GB GDDR5 V2.

PSU - 750 Watt Corsair CX750M.

RAM - 8 GB @ 1333Mhz.

HDD's - 2x 1000Gb @7200RPM and 1x 500Gb @ 7200RPM.

SSD - None.

Motherboard - MSI 760GM P23 FX.

Case - MS-Tech CA-0300.

Yes you could get the i5-4670K instead at almost the same price:

At stock it will match with the i5-4590, but you'll be able to overclock it for a good performance gain.
The G45 is pretty much the old version of the Gaming 3 board, though this board can also overclock.

Even if you're not planning on overclocking, it allows you to buy a good cooler a year from now and overclock it when you see yourself wanting that extra performance.


One last thing, don't you have the win 7 disc? or do you just have a win8 copy around for use.
Don't buy windows 8.1 Pro, Windows 9 is JUST around the corner, and even then if you do have the win7 key, you should rather spend the money on hardware, Windows 7 is still a good OS.
