Hai after being a lurker in this site for few month i finally decide to build my first budget gaming rigs
so here is my item list.My question is will this set up work? and as for OS, can i just use usb for first time boot?or do i still need and optic drive? im also considering asus gtx 760 CUII which is the same price as msi 760 hawk.
1 more that im concern with is according to pcpartpicker my cpu cooler might not compitible with my mobo since it say mobo use usb 3.0 why that cooler use usb 2.0.
processor - Intel Core i5-4460
Motherboard - Asus H97-PLUS
RAM - Corsair Vengeance Pro 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600
Storage -Western Digital Caviar Black 1TB
Power Supply -Corsair CX 600W
Video Card -MSI GeForce GTX 760 2GB HAWK
Case -Cooler Master HAF 912 advance
Cpu cooler -Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO

Thx guys ^^

What is your budget? I would go with the 270X as it is has the same performance as the 760 but cheaper. Here is your build in a nutshell.

http://www.coolermaster.com/case/mid-tower/haf-912-advanced/
if parts picker is using out of date info then the warning will be usb 2.0 front header with a mb that has usb 3.0 ports. per the case vendor web page it has usb 3.0 ports on the front of case and the cpu cooler max height is 175mm.

Do you think that he really needs an aftermarket cooler? It is a non K CPU so that implies that he won't be overclocking so therefore he won't be getting high temps which are usually the reason that people get them.

Yeah, you just have to swap it. No changes in the build are required.
