Hi..

I have a old XFX Nforce 680I LT SLI Mobo with PCI E 1.1 slots. I am looking at getting the new GTX 750TI GPU card, but I am not sure if a PCI 3.0 GPU card will work in a PCI E 1.1 slot? I know it is likely time to upgrade the XFX motherboard/system, but I am just looking at getting the max life out of my current setup.

the newer video cards should work in older pc. the issue with older pc is the chipsets on the mb and the bios info on the older mb. as your mb has an intel clone chipset it might not work with all cards or do to it age might not post with the newer 750 ti. if you do buy a new gpu see what the return policy is if the system wont post with it. myself with a pc that old that still working I would donate it and get a tax refund for it.
