CPU: Intel i5 750 2.67 Lynfield 45nm
RAM: G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 4GB DDR3
MOBO: ASUSTeK P7P55D-E PRO
GPU: XFX RADEON HD 5850
HDD: 1TB SAMSUNG HD103SJ ATA
PSU: CORSAIR TX Series CMPSU-650TX 650W

That is my current build and I feel like its getting a bit slow. Looking to spend around $500-$600 to upgrade parts(maybe more if i really have to). I really wanted an SSD and for sure more RAM

Im looking to game a lot but I don't think i need a new gpu I just really want to upgrade my cpu, ram, and harddrive to an ssd

and neither is the HD5850 or just having only 4gb ram (what speed?)

Your mobo - http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/P7P55DE_PRO/ - is LGA1156. The strongest CPU is an i7 870 - which isn't much better.

Your should get an i5 4690k - $240 at Newgg plus
ASRock Z97 Extreme 4 mobo - $144 at Newegg plus 8gb ram
GSkill Ares 1866 - $87 at Newegg

total $475. Sorry - no SSD.

yes my ram is 1600 its quite slow
Is that motherboard any good, or does it need an upgrade?
