As of now I have a a10-5700 clocked at 3.4 ghz, with a 750 ti, but in cs go on like, the lowest settings at 1280x800 I only get 130fps. This just seems discouraging because in black ops 2 in 1080p I get well above 150 fps most of the time
Yes certainly. CS:GO is a CPU intensive title so I would suggest an i3 4130 at least and an i5 if you can spend that much. Your GPU certainly is not the bottleneck.
would an fx 6300 or 8320 do just as good?
If CS GO is what you will be playing then the i3 is your best bet. It has the best single core performance of the lot and CS GO utilizes a single core only. I would also recommend getting the i5 4440 if you can fit that into the budget.
cs go isnt the only game i want to play though, i play games like cod battlefield 4 etc, so should i get a quad core intel or 6 core amd processor, or will the i3 do just as good as my a10-5700?

For general gaming a i5 would be your best bet, you can get a 4590 and a cheap h81 mobo for less than $250
