So yea, my pc specs shpuld be in the description. Is my PSU able to handle 2 reference 970's with or without oc? And i also read around to never sli 2 non reference gpu's if you dont have a lot of space, because itll just blow hot air all around. Also, i would like to upgrade to an ASUS Maximums HERO IV because of the sli, but will i need to re apply thermal paste for my cpu??? Please help. (Sorry if i mispelled anything, im using a not so aweaome phone) oh and can my PSU SLI???

At the moment if you buy a single GTX 970 you wont need to upgrade either your PSU or Motherboard since minimum on 970 required is 500W and you wont have space issues.
But if you will want to get SLI 970 i would think that you need new PSU.
For the hot air, no i dont think it will be a problem. Or maybe if you want you can buy 3xPCIe slot MoBo and put 1 GPU in 1st slot and 2nd GPU in 3rd slot so that you have space between, but as far as i seen in builds with aftermarket coolers, there is no problem.

you will have to upgrade your psu
600W is not enough for 2 970s
as for your case
its is a small sized case even though it has a lot of slots for additional fans
but the maxwell architecture also has a lower heat output due to its lower TDP
so wait on for the cards to be comprehensively reviewed first
you might not need a new case
adding a fan or two should do the trick
wait for the non reference cards to be reviewed first
and now for the Mobo
yes go for the upgrade
since you have an unlocked CPU (K version)
doesnt make sense to leave it at stock speeds
you dont even have to spend so much on the Mobo
go for a MSI Z97 gaming 5 as it is cheaper, overclocks well and also supports 2 way sli which your current Mobo does not
