Hello there, I seem to have a problem with my internet. You see, the actual Modem is on the other side of the house, and there are wires that go through the basement to get to the 'Den'. My Laptop is currently stationed in the Den, and instead of connecting to the access points that were set up in the Den, it is connected to the router, which is on the other side of the house, which gives me about 1-2 bars. (Samsung Laptop, Apple Router, and Apple Modem, along with like a Cisco Booster or something).

Solution
The simplest solution is to give the access point(s) different SSIDs. You then choose to connect to the closest device. Many people don't like this implementation because you can't roam around the house seamlessly. A single SSID on multiple WIFI access points just does not work for some devices. This laptop may be one of those cases.

It's currently a problem with all devices in the house, including the PS4, Samsung S5, Apple Laptop, and my Laptop. Also, could you lead me through these steps of what you just explained, with the 'SSID' 's, etc?

The SSID is the name that the wireless device broadcasts -- "MyWIFI" -- It is the thing that shows up in the list of available WIFI signals.

Since you say you have an S5 -- go to the Play store and download "WIFI Analyzer". It will show you ALL the WIFI signals that are visible to the phone. There are several displays on WIFI Analyzer, one of them looks like camel humps. That display shows the signal strength of all the signals visible to the phone. Another display (swipe to get the different displays) shows a list of all the signals. That display includes information about hardware the signal is coming from.
