i was wondering if the gtx 970 would be bottle necked with my core i3 4130 ?
thanks for replies in advance

And guys would the bottleneck be significantly large or small?
just as a final precaution before buying?
and would a Pentium g3258 work?
please don't dish out on me man

Probably. The 970 is slightly better than the 780 so I'd expect a slight bottleneck

Yes I would say there will be a bottleneck with your CPU.

An i5 will work better with the GTX 970, but an i7 is recommended.

The i7s and i5s are the same thing when it comes to gaming. The i7 only wins in things like photo/video editing
