Question about coil whine.

Hey all, I'm here to ask about coil whine.
My psu has recently started making what I can only describe as an electrical buzzing noise.
It is somewhat on and off, but is very annoying. Could those coils whine.
Does anyone have any examples of coil whine?

Apart from mine is slightly quiter, I tyres getting a recording of the noise, but my phone doesn't want to upload it.
Would you say that I'd coil whine.

Doesn't sound like coil whine , I wouldn't run it on your system , replace or RMA it.

No something you should be hearing.

Ok thank you, I'm replacing it anyway due to the sound bugging me. Picking up a corsair psu.
Just have to wait till Monday to pick it up.

Just make sure it's not a Corsair CX , VS , CSM , or RM series they use poor caps.

I just looked for those, the only one I could find within my budget is an xfx 550w
I'm unsure if this would work, I think it's 50w more powerfull then my current one. Would you say it'd be worth investing in it?

The top one has a 5 year warranty, whereas the bottom one only a 2 year warranty. Which would you say is better.
