Last year I made the decision to buy an alienware x51 instead of building, which I regret. Ive heard they like to use a few proprietary parts that can't be transferred to a new build like the motherboard and the PSU. I would like to save some money by reusing some of the parts from the alienware that aren't bad if possible. It's an alienware x51 with an intel i5-1440 processor with a 2tb hard drive and 8gb of ram. Also it uses a 2gb gtx 760. I would really appreciate the help so I don't have to start from the ground up.

Alienware cases sell for a pretty high price in general, you can sell it and buy a cheaper case instead if you wish. To me it looks like a pretty decent all-round gaming PC atm, so without an actual problem I cannot really give any advice.
