Just like the title says, I have a first time build that I'd like some help on, like suggestions for better parts. My budget at most is $1000, and the build that I have is under that. The main thing I am worried about is the motherboard. Any help would be awesome, thanks.

Solution
You have an overclocking CPU on a non-overclocking motherboard and a cooler as bad as the stock cooler. That all needs to change.

Your HDD is a slower server drive. You want a 720rpm WD blue.
This is a stronger gaming build:

I hear the 900 series isn't really that powerful, thats why i went with the 760. one of my friends has the build i posted, with the exception of the motherboard. plus i dont know exactly when i will get the money, so the limited time offer for the ram is possibly out. ill save it just in case though. thanks for the reply
