Hello power supply experts, i want to ask you if a Corsair AX760 power supply is more than enough to handle 2 GTX 980 for like 5 years. If it's not enough, will the Corsair Ax860 do the job without risk of running out of enough energy?
In a negative case, which power supply do you recomend me?
Country: Spain
Detail of the gaming build
- i7 4790k
- Maximus Hero VII
- EVO 500 GB

Here is Guru3D's power supply recommendation:

GeForce GTX 970 or 980 - On your average system the card requires you to have a 500 Watt power supply unit.
GeForce GTX 970 or 980 in 2-way SLI - On your average system the cards require you to have an 800 Watt power supply unit as minimum.

If you are going to overclock your GPU or processor, then we do recommend you purchase something with some more stamina.

Given that their system is a power hungry 3960k, you could get by with 750 watts....though I'd go with a 850 for the extra headroom.

1st tier - Seasonic X Series

2nd tier - EVGA G2 / P2
Corsair HX / AX
Seasonic M12

3rd Tier - Seasonic S12
EVGA B2
Antec HCG / HCP

I'd get atleast a 850w unit especially if you plan on doing any overclocking.
