I have Sata drive in the unit and is shown in the bios. Windows xp or 7 does not recognizes that inspite of loading drivers. The drive is fine and is recognized when booted via IDE drive OS

if the motherboard is an amd chipset or 3 party chipset mb with window install you have to do the f6 extra driver install and have the motherboard chipset drivers expanded to a cd or usb stick so windows can read there inf files. if the f6 trick wont work use windows xp or windows 7 iso slipstream software to make a new iso image with all the updated drivers and service packs.

I already tried loading drivers via F6 option. It did not work. Where do I get Win7 ISO slipstream software and how to make ISO image. I have the win 7 CD.
