So recently I wanted to get a new gaming and editing computer so I went on PCPartpicker and started. I am kind of a nooby to PC building but I know more or less how to build a computer. I do live in Canada so its the Canadian version of PC part picker. I think the build will work all together but I'm not 100% sure. One thing I am concerned about is the motherboard, I tried finding a mobo that would be compatible with everything so is the one I put compatible with my case, ram, hard drive, video card and everything else. Will the mobo have everything like the PCIE 16x lane and will it slow down any of my parts? I'm on quite a budget so I don't wanna spend much more money. Also, it says some 970 mobo chipsets need the BIOS update for some Vishera CPU, will I need to update the BIOS for my FX-6300? I cant update BIOS because this is the only FX CPU I have. And will everything work once I build it? Thanks

pcpartpicker has compataibility filters in it so it would have warned you if there was any issue.

Overall a decent build, I dont know about in canada but often you can get the fx-8320 for only $30 more.

Only thing I would note is that for gaming (assuming an ethernet cable to router is not possible) a powerline network adapter will provide you with a more responsive and stable internet connection over wifi.

The WIFI Adapter is just for my printer, other than that I will be using Ethernet, the thing is PCPartpicker did warn me, it says, "Some AMD 970 chipset motherboards may need a BIOS update prior to using Vishera CPUs." You can see this message in the link in the thread. So will FX-6300 affect this and make me do a BIOS update or not?

P.S I'm on a tight budget which I can't go over so $30 is out of the question for the fx 8320 you suggested, I have also heard that the FX-6300 is a good CPU and should be able to play any game, correct?

So I shouldn't worry about the message it gave me, "Some AMD 970 chipset motherboards may need a BIOS update prior to using Vishera CPUs." I'm just concerned, I don't wanna buy and put everything together and realize I need to do a BIOS update that I wouldn't be able to do.

Don't worry about the message it's a standard warning on partpicker for 970 boards.
