Should I go for Intel or Amd

Solution
You mean the Intel G3250?
Gaming performance may be better on the Intel, particularly if overclocked.
This effect is lost in games that use more than 2 cores to full advantage.
The AMD also has an advantage in many other applications simply because of the number of cores.
I would say the AMD FX-6300, or if you can afford it an Intel Core i5.

The FX-6300 is at least a value proposition compared to the dual core Intel CPUs.
The FX-8XXX cpus are power hungry and expensive. It is beyond me why anyone would choose these over a Core i5.

Damn... inflation of AMD... haha, in America it's a bigger price gap.

Generally everything is cheaper in the US than here, especially with our dollar falling at the moment.
This makes sense with the cheaper AMD CPU.
It doesn't make sense that the Intel CPU is more expensive in the US. Are these from the same store?
