Well, I got a Solid state drive for my birthday so I decided to have a friend mirror my old 80 gb Western digital hard drive to the new SSD that was 120gb. After I got home I noticed my second 400gb hdd isnt reading and that the ssd says its using 70gb of only 74gb. Its almost like it mirrored the 80gb and the SSD dosent actually know its 120gb. Help would be appreciated, thanks.

What do you mean by 'mirror'?

Clone the 80GB to the new 120GB?
Or a RAID 1 mirror?

If the former, that is what often happens. The new drive is formatted as to the size of the old drive.

If the latter - do not do that.

To "mirror" two drives or more they have to be the same size and speed. Otherwise both drives will perform at the rate of the slowest drive and the size of the smaller drive. Mirroring a SSD with a HDD is not the way to go.
