Hi!
*i'm not living in US, but i'll use usd to make it easier.

i'm going to spend $1600 to 1800 for gpus to run games at 3x 1080p monitors.
i'm okay with SLi / cf, i was using 2x gtx 680, until one of them stop working couple days ago.
but i think i wouldn't go for more than 2 cards, considering power consumption (electrical bills) and temps (i'm using a silent mid-tower case)
i was looking for 2x titan black, but i think it's too overpriced for the performance.

my current specs:
i7 4770k + corsair h105
Z87 Extreme9/ac
seasonic x1250w gold psu
fractal arc midi
1x zotac reference gtx 680 (was 2)
4x4gb corsair 1866
1x 256ssd
2x 2tb HDD
3x 1920x1080 asus

*pardon my english, didn't born with it.

Or the other option is to go and get some of the new GTX 980's as they will perform very well for you too, especially seeing as two of those will outperform a 295x2

yeah, i read the news that amd cut prices for its 29x series.
if i get 2 of them, i dunno where to put their 2x120mm radiators, lol.
beside that, in my country they still sell it at normal price.

oh i forgot that it's just released. i doesn't appear at my country yet.
need to wait for a couple week, living in a 3rd world is suck.
which one is better in sli, 2x980 or 2x 780ti?
i think i'll forget about titan black.
i read in some reviews that 2x 780ti does outperform 2x titan black, although it's not happen in every game.

This is a budget-oriented option maybe 30% stronger that your "old" 680 SLI:

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

Video Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 970 4GB ACX Video Card (2-Way SLI) ($329.99 @ Amazon)
Video Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 970 4GB ACX Video Card (2-Way SLI) ($329.99 @ Amazon)
Total: $659.98
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available

thanks for your help, filippi.
these gtx 9xx series isn't available at my country yet.
currently reading reviews of 2x980, i think two of these still fits in my budget.
i'll buy 2 of them once they available at my country.

the other thing is, in my country, PC parts are quite expensive.
for example, this 780 ti:
http://pcpartpicker.com/part/zotac-video-card-zt7050410...
it's $529 from tigerdirect.
while the cheapest i can find in my country is still about $660

** thread update, budget reduced due to currency / tax / whatever between my country and US.

The gtx 980 in SLI will happily out perform the gtx780ti in SLI, especially if you over clock the 980, but filippi's suggestion is also a very good one

The cheapest 780ti i can find in my country is $900 :D

As Nuckles_56 said gtx 980 SLI is perfect for a Nvidia Surround.

Performance wise for three 1080p monitors you'd probably be best saving some money and getting two 970's otherwise its either two 980's or go all out with a pair of 285's
