I just bought a new Toshiba satellite. It is supposed to be expandable to 16 GB ram. It came with six. At best buy they told me I could buy a 8 GB RAM and install it with the 4 GB ram that came with the computer for a total of 12 GB. I installed it and when I check my PC info it says I only have 4 GB. Is there any reason why my computer is not detecting it? I am not sure how to check it in BIOS I am not that proficient at computers. ANY help would be appreciated.
