It has been a really long time since me and my friend played Pokemon(had a gameboy advance back then). We already got visual boy advance emulator and Pokemon Emerald Rom. We want to occasionally do trading, etc. I have a desktop and he has a laptop. We both have internet connection. But he is pretty far away(~7km), so can we play using any methods(like Hamachi)? If that is not possible, he does come to my house once a few weeks with his laptop, so we play games on lan. Is that possible atleast? How do we do it?
I have already seen the method of playing with multiplayer on the same pc, like having multiple vba open at the same time and using vbalink. That is not what i am talking about.
