I had AMD Radeon 5450 and I have played Battlefield 3 on low settings with ~30FPS, Borderlands 2, low, ~40FPS.
Now I bought the Nvidia Geforce GTX 750ti and i can play Battlefield 3 on medium with barely 40FPS and Borderlands is 40FPS idle, when enemy pops up FPS just drops to around 10, tried playing on Low or High settings i get same FPS. (Also I have noticed that my GPU stays at ~25 celsius all the time, whatever I'm playing, or it being idle)
As it is now, my 750ti is not a big improvement over 5450 even tho i paid it over 150$ more.

My rig:
CPU: AMD Athlon II x3 455 (3 core 3.3GHz)
GPU: Nvidia Geforce GTX 750ti
6GB of RAM
Win7 64bit

It could be that CPU is too slow but I think its more likely the motherboard pcie socket is slow or a driver issue. The GPU isn't being maxed out by the look of it and its because the system is making use of it. What's the mobo?
