Hi,

I'm building a new gaming/video editing pc for Christmas and I don't know if I should get the 780 Ti or the 980. The 980 is more power efficient and costs less but the 780 ti has ~800 more cuda cores. Does this change anyhting? Do additional cuda cores mean better performance in gaming and/or video editing?

Solution
Go with the 980, the 780ti is more expensive, not power conversant and slower. The 980 is power conversant, faster and cheaper. Forgot about the Cuda cores, the Maxwell cores are 40% faster than the Kepler cores.
