can i overclock intel core i7 4790k 4.9 ghz with cooler master hyper 121x

i am planning to buy intel core i7 4790k and want to overclock it to 4.8 and 4.9 ghz.
my heatsink is hyper 121x and chassi is haf x !!!

No. 4.9Ghz is custom loop territory. Unless you have the best binned chip in the world, you won't be able to

A good oc with hyper 212 would be 4.5 - 4.6 if you want to oc it to 4.9 then you should get a water cooler.

For gaming, no difference
For CPU intensive tasks like video editing - Big difference

A stock 4790k can handle any game on the market at 1080p max without OC/bottleneck

yes i know that i have never said any thing about bottlenecking i am saying when oced there is an increase in fps in games.

Are there benchmarks of that? I've never seen or heard of an OCed i7 gaining fps in games. I've always heard they're more than enough even at stock clocks

That's 3-4fps. A negligible difference. If it was like 10-15fps then it might be something to take into consideration
