Need help on a good gaming pc build

I'm fairly new to computers and I would really love to upgrade to play games with smooth fps. I currently have a AMD Elite Quad-core A8-6500 Accelerated Processor and a AMD Radeon HD 8570D Graphics card. I would really love to know a good affordable gaming upgrade that's worth it with having smooth high fps with high settings.

Example of a game I really want to run well with good settings would be "Archeage".

Yes your existing graphics are integrated graphics onto your processor, and once you switch to Intel you will no longer have the AMD Radeon HD 8570D. However once you're with Intel, you don't necessarily need a graphics card; since Intel do provide integrated graphics too (known as Intel HD) however, the Intel HD is not as powerful as AMD's integrated graphics offering. Regardless of what's been said, for optimal gaming performance you will need a graphics card; whether you're with Intel or AMD. A dedicated/discrete graphics card will outperform any integrated graphics by far.

Your current CPU is an APU, which has advanced integrated graphics. The AMD Radeon HD 8570D is integrated onto your processor, hence is not a dedicated/discrete graphics card. After brief research, I have found that you don't need the utmost high-system to run ArcheAge; you should be able to run the game at a decent graphical quality with minor upgrades.

Please may I ask what is your budget? How much are you willing to spend? Also what are the rest of your system specifications? Do you have 4GB RAM, 8GB or more? What power supply do you have? What motherboard?

Personally I'd recommend switching to an Intel i5 processor, which will require a new Intel motherboard. Once you switch to Intel, you should use your existing components (except for the CPU of course) and then install a dedicated/discrete graphics card; that should boost your performance in any game by a significant margain. Of course if you budget allows.

The above should outperform you existing system by a long-shot, hence upgrading would provide you additional gaming performance. The i5 is ideal for gaming as most games utilise only 4-cores at maximum (the i5 is indeed quad-core); hence switching to Intel will provide better single-core performance over AMD. In addition your APU no longer needs to render graphics too, that is offloaded onto the graphics card; again providing performance boosts.

Hmm...What else could I switch too if I have a little bit more. yes the processor is better but if the purpose of this build is gaming then you will be wasting money i7 is actually not needed for gaming plus it will cost you over 300$ and you will have no money left for other parts like motherboard,GPU and probably PSU.
For your Info you you would need a h97 chipset motherboard for the i7 4790.
