I am going to have a sample of some new type of memory for sever computers which is not in the market.
The matter is, I don't have the fully visible specification for it at the moment.
It would be DDR4 or DDR3 compatible design, and it might also have ecc. Or it would be unbuffered if I am lucky.
But the matter is here again, if it is 128GB at a single channel, I worry there will be no way to make use of it for now.
So, is there any (cpu+MB) combination supporting 128GB at a single DIMM? I think there isn't..
If there is not, I need to ask for chips rather than DIMM interfaced sample then I need to design it by myself.
So please tell me the link or the product name for the system (should be intel's for my application)
Have a guess, this sample is from SKhynix and I am a korean student in thr univ. Lab. The memory is different with its material inside, no clear spec. at the moment, just I am told to be offered. Help me with good luck!
