Netgear router extender quit wont talk to router

Router and router extender quit communicating. Also won't accept username or password. New computer and recent software ioS 8 to iPhone. Everthing acting up since.

This is odd since the problem started with software updates to IOS 8. But do this. Do a hard reset on the repeater. I assume when you say won't take user name etc it is the repeater you can't connect to.

If it is the router then you need to do a hard rest there too. Then set up like a new system again.
