It's the virus's name
Ransom:Win32/Critroni

I followed the instruction removed it, ran a full scan and made sure it's TRULY gone,
but it left a horrible ordeal
this virus has Renamed 12327 files in my computer and added (appended) a random name extension like

.rlqbtnh

to all those files including txt files, pdf files, and graphical files some of them were systemic files
it has malfunctioned almost all programs in my computer

when I rename them, they're not the same
they're whether corrupted or if a txt file they're a bunch of codes
exampe of the files is like these

vobsub-auto.txt.rlqbtnh
tamriel.4.40.-64.dds.rlqbtnh

All the virus removal instructions only mention ways to remove it, which works perfectly, but none mention anything about the dealing with the corruption
I sincerely need help

I use win8.1 64bit Enterprise

Hi
Unfortunately that ransomware appears to encrypt files so unless you can get the decrypt key you cannot restore those files.
Looks like the only thing you can do is format the hard drive and reinstall everything and make sure you put on a good anti virus program to protect you in future.Ransomware is specifically designed to stop you using the computer without a key.

A proper anti-virus is just an excuse, it was stupid me who was downloading HD wallpapers from torrents with only 1 seeder, yeah that bastard virus maker was the only one who were seeding
i found three decrypt programs but non could decrypt them
are u saying the key is in the hands of that bastard?
and there's nothing I can do without the key?
