Hi

TLDR: r295x2 GPU, Looked at Ultrasharp but A00 problems + 8ms, mainly for digital art but I want gaming functionality and to not be castrated by TN/high response times/low refresh rates, would prefer 24" and IPS.

I'm building a triple monitor setup with the r295x2 GPU for gaming and digital art. I want crisp, clear colours and contrasts with decent gaming response-time and refresh rate. Ideally, I want high-end picture quality with the gaming aspect retained with a 5ms response time or something of the sort.

I've been lookinng at the Ultrasharp series, but i'm reluctant to finalize the purchase partially due to the 8ms response time of the U2412M, but primarily due to the revision A00 being problematic.

Further, I'd prefer the monitor to be 24" and an IPS panel as I don't want a TN panel because I'm not a hardcore gamer, I will play games frequently and somewhat competitively, but I'll be investing the majority of my time on digital art, thus the monitor has to be more suited to what I would mainly use it for.

For gaming, you'd only want 1080p's so your gpu can power along.

For photoshop, you want a 1440p panel.

Maybe you can get one 1440p (27in) and 2 x 1080p's 24in

1080p's - Asus VE248H - 150 quid - http://www.amazon.co.uk/ASUS-VE248H-Widescreen-Response...
1440p - Asus PG278Q ROG Swift 27" - 670quid - http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MO...
