can i replace 3ohm speakers with 8 ohm

hi have a Panasonic SC-PMX5DB hi fi, am looking to replace speakers with ceiling speakers, difficulty in matching up 3ohm impedance, only speakers that match are car speakers, can these be used or perhaps 8ohm speakers, any advise would be helpfull

hi will car speakers require cabinet around them or will loft insulation give the right acoustics, sorry if that sound dum, total noob at this, just dont want it to sound crappy
