Mic issues on VOIP. Sounds fine on system.

Got a new headset (USB, been using analog) and I love the comfort and crystal clear recording capability when using windows recorder, or setting it to play the input of the mic on my headset. Basically 1:1 with a very light buzzing in the background (probably due to mic boost).

But I've been having an issue with my work soft phone, skype, Teamspeak. Respectively I have interference, static, and echoing.
Also, the input is extremely loud and I've had to modify all my sound settings down quite a bit. Not as much of an issue, I've set the output to -20 DB on both sides, not sure if it's had an effect.

It came with it's own software where I can modify input channel (2-8 channel) Kareoke and "Magic voice" (Disabled) where I can modify key shifting and voice cancellation.
Any other info that might help? Any ideas? I should note that my speeds during this are around 30mbps down and 5 up.
