Monitor won't turn after new GPU installation.

Recently built a new PC, and was working fine, then I bought a new GPU Asus r9 280x, after installing it (properly installed) my PC would boot, I'd see the usual led lights on even the GPU led lights, but monitor won't turn on, won't show any display. When I uninstall my GPU it would work normally.

Motherboard: Asus z97-ar
And before the new GPU, it was an integrated card
650w psu

Have you connected the card correctly? Is it in the pci slot correctly? does the monitor turn on at all, if so what does it display? try reseting the bios, it sounds like your motherboard isn't picking up your gpu correctly

Oh the led light, yea it shows, my bad.. But actually I think I know what's wrong, because I have my HDMI connected to my mobo, but not on my GPU, I didn't notice that it had an HDMI connect, I'll update if it works out, which it should
Lol.. Stupid me
