Hi,

I'm looking for a LGA 1150 motherboard that supports ECC memory (i.e. preferably chipset C226) and has digital video out (i.e. HDMI, DVI or DisplayPort). I'd prefer mini-itx form factor, but
could go with micro-atx if no suitable mini-itx board can be found.

So far, the only mini-itx board I've found is the unreleased Axiomtek MANO882:
http://www.axiomtek.de/Products/ViewProduct.asp?view=1150

And I've only found one micro-atx board, the AsrockRack C226M WS:
http://www.asrockrack.com/general/productdetail.asp?Model=C226M%20WS#

I have an Asrock E3C226D2I (mini-itx, 1150, ECC, but only VGA out) in a NAS which works fine, but for my workstation I want better video output. I want to use the CPU's graphics, no add-on PCI express cards.

Anyone know of other motherboards which meet my criteria?

Hi,

The Intel ARK lists some i3/i5 CPUs as supporting ECC:
http://ark.intel.com/search/advanced?s=t&SocketsSupported=FCLGA1150&ECCMemory=true
http://ark.intel.com/products/75468/Intel-Core-i5-4570TE-Processor-4M-Cache-up-to-3_30-GHz
http://ark.intel.com/products/77770/Intel-Core-i3-4330T-Processor-4M-Cache-3_00-GHz

But you're right, if I want power I'll have to go with Xeon. Hence C226.

The P9D-I board you refer to has socket 1155, and I'd prefer to go with more modern architectures.

Thanks,

The official specs for P9D-I:

http://www.asus.com/Commercial_Servers_Workstations/P9DI/specifications/ ; it is a SK1150 board, don't worry.
