I didn't update RAM but I have 8GB now but I don't think that would be important for the monitor.

Asus makes the best 60hz gaming monitors whether it is for console or steam. I myself owned an ASUS VN247H-P which is I think the newer model of the asus that you posted. Both will do just fine. I recently upgraded to a benq 144hz though and sold the asus. 144hz is not ideal in your situation unless you have a gtx 770 or higher. Go with the asus, you will not be disappointed as it has low input lag and minimal motion blur thanks to the TN display.

How about this monitor http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00IZBIMLK/ref=pd_lpo_sbs_dp_ss_2?pf_rd_p=1535523722&pf_rd_s=lpo-top-stripe-1&pf_rd_t=201&pf_rd_i=B00ITORMDC&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_r=0YHBT7BP1CVCXFXJYSYQ vs the ASUS

edit:
I just seen it's 144hz and you said that wouldn't be best with my card.

The monitor in the link you suggested to me is only 60Hz. Benq is a name to trust if you decide to get it though. You're card will not pump enough frames to fully take advantage the 144hz.

Oh that BenQ link is only 60hz? Maybe that was the other BenQ I seen that was 144hz. Then I'm still not sure which one I'll get.
